Four Maine athletes who qualified at the state level for the National Senior Olympics in Louisville, KY have taken the Silver medal in Racquetball Doubles competition. Bruce Bagwell and Rick Wilcox from Topsham, in age group 50-54, placed second overall, as did Rene Saucier and Tom Farley from Yarmouth, in age group 55-59. The biennial Senior Olympics involved 12,000 athletes age 50+ from across the United States, competing in 18 sports over 15 days. Topsham and Cundy’s Harbor residents Kay Bagwell and Eileen Fletcher placed fourth in their age division in doubles tennis.
